What happened to the sports games?

They're gone :(

It started with MVP 05. That was the last baseball game. And it was great. Especially after it got modded to hell.

Then NHL started to suck hard. And now its not out.

Finally, EA will not be releasing Madden to the PC for the second year in a row.

What gives?

because we didn't buy their inferior crap. They would port us the PS2 versions each year and we got wise and didn't buy them.

I would love for sports games to come to the PC, but they are just not as popular. Oh well, I have a 360 anyways so I don't miss out, but I can't help but wish some of my favorites were ported over.

I'm not buying a new football game unless:

a) EA steps their game up and introduces Madden on a Euphoria engine

OR

b) EA doesn't buy the NFL license again in '12 and someone else releases a superior game
