I love STALKER, and always have wanted to spend a bit of time exploring Pripyat, but those kids just need to embrace reality. It's kinda sad.

I think it would be fun to explore abandoned building and stuff like that, but looting and being destructive is taking it a bit too far. But such is life in the zone :P

I honestly did not expect this. Russians always had a thing for... well, how should i put it? Liking stuff that remind of poverty, old factories, cold war. You know, when everyone usually thinks "cool stuff" are either futuristic, or in fashion, or looked impressive in various ways. Russians usually like factories, undergound building and pretty much everyting that appearead in that article and in stalker. So no wonder that they like stalker so much that they resulted into building a community and enviroment more like it.dakan45

Russian history is fascinating but it is so, so, so depressing. Pretty much for thousands of years until, well, its still depressing I guess. But fascinating, amazing people for enduring so much turmoil, political abuse, social abuse, etc.
