The chances of SF IV doing well on PC is kinday slim. I am looking forward to this game but not getting it for PC. DeihmosAgreed. It's going to get pirated to hell, then the publisher is going to swear off PCs for good. Who is honestly going to pay $50 for a fighting game on the PC in 2009? It might be the most awesome fighting game in the history of the genre, but it's still a fighting game, a genre that died on the PC a decade ago. ...or more.

Specially when you can get a arcade stick and/or gamepad for cheaper than the console counterpart.. Furthermore alot of people have hd tvs, which they can tvout and sit on the couch.. But I agree unfortantely, most people who are getting it, are for the consoles.. But I have to admit, it would be fun playing it on my laptop.
I love fighting games but i had hardly played any.I hope many other fighting games do come to pc.
SF4 might sell well if it has no frame rate issues and it has good mltiplayer.

Unfortantely one of the best things about fighting games is playing ont he same screen against a friend.. Something that the average user may seem uncomfortable.. Us few who can tv out and sit on a couch or lay in a bed have it made. Will we see future fighting games like VF,Tekken and DOA series cming to pc as well.I really need some good fighting games for pc am too poor to buy consoles:(sandeep410
yup, apparently the sales of ice skates are sky rocketting in hell.
i doubt that fighters will make a return. certain games attempted to make it on PC but the genre just died off
most PC gamers who do buy SF4 will, IMO, do so for nostalgic reason

if you're desperate for fighting games try looking for neogeo emus
I hope it has totally remappable controls, because I hope to be playing it on my MAME cab. Sitting on the couch with a gamepad is nowhere close to playing it on a standup cab with actual arcade sticks and buttons. There are thousands of cab builders out there, so it could be a surprise hit.

I think many PC games need to have a bundle that includes a joystick. It could just be a basic $10 joystick but it would open up many genres for the PC. Many of the PC's "limitations" are really just caused by people's limited views of what a PC is capable of. Although you and I are likely to buy a controller/joystick for our PC's and hook them up to an HDTV, the average consumer doesn't even consider those options.

ME ME ME I have it on preorder...and here in OZ it's around $90. I just hope they get the online lag problem fixed....
