I am running dangerously low on Internal memory. Basicly all the memory is being taken up by crappy pictures my sister doesnt even use, but "needs". So I was thinking of getting a new Internal Hard Drive that was around 250GB-500GB, 7200 RPM, and atleast 16MB Cache for around $50-$100 mabye a little bit more or less.

Any who, which Internal Hard Drive company do you guys recommend and what web site to get it on.

Also for my processorquestion. I have 2 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz running right now. I was wondering can I run Empire Total War with this? All my other specs are equal or greater to the minimum specs. I'm just not sure about my CPU.

Why exactly do you allow your sister to use your PC? Good HDD companies are Segate nd Western Digital, use newegg to buy one. Check it with that "will it run" program

The 1TB one is still in your price range:

the 500gb hdds are great value. don't get anything smaller. you could go for a 1tb drive they are really cheap. 250gb is a waste of money, tiny and expensive for the size

As for your processor you are slightly above the minimum requirements for your CPU. However you may want to upgrade to a Pentium-Dual core or Core 2 Duo sometime soon as long as your motherboard supports it and depending on your budget.

I wouldnt get a Seagate, this 80gb 7200rpm drive has sector errors all over the place, causes the BSOD a bunch too. Also, the 320gb seagate in my other pc makes akward noises often.

Yeah, 500GB are great. Good price too. 1Gb are cheap these days too. You can never have enough as they get filled fast as time passes and apps get bigger.

I did use quite a bit of it with the GTAIV vid clips, I had 306GB of them and it started to crash out GTAIV when I went into the video editor. LOL.

Thanks for all the replies. And I'm hesitant on getting the 1TB because a few of my friends have gotten it and they all stopped working in a few weeks. They all got Seagate and I think one of them got a Western Digital.

And as a reply to the first poster, the computer i use is the family computer, so my sister uses it too.
