IS 9400GT + Is 1.8Ghz 2160 Is not even Able to Run WoW smoothly. what make you think a 9500GT Will ?! Even tough he as the 9400GT 1GB : IT not worthing IT AT ALL We TOLD him Before 8800GT / 9600GT / 4670 / 9800GT /

But You Denies the hard Truth.. And Once you done a GPU UL have to harvest money to upgrade the Processor Because ur machine is really Weak to play game to max : and even if you can max out wow with a 4670 :then it up to you to know if you want to play more

you can get a bit more power then HD4670 tough such as 8800GT / ATI HD3870 IF they are at good price in india. you aint in america you told us that Before
making 3-5 post won't help you to find a better gpu really
but if 9500GT is Far more powerufll then 9400GT already Tough

WoW doesn't take much to run. A 9500 GT will run it smoothly.

It will probably run WoW at max settings with 1650x1050 or at least 1440x900 with some anti aliasing slapped on.

Shut up, fool. No one's denying anything. Also, get some grammar and spelling lessons. A 9500 GT will run it fine. Those games are games with better graphics than WoW, with high resolutions and anti aliasing slapped on. A 9500 GT will do completely fine with WoW.

Seriously. My x800 Pro can max out WoW and still get well over 60 FPS. WoW will run on anything. And I mean anything. If your computer can't run WoW smoothly it's time to buy a new computer. Even an internet PC bought in the last 2-3 years should be able to run WoW smoothly if you turn the settings down.

If you want to max out WoW then any PC with gaming hardware made in the last 5-7 years should do the trick.

I mean, really. WoW runs on anything, I'm sick of fools who over estimate the required specs to play old games. The 9500 GT is a decent card, and it could run WoW really maxed out, if not on 1920x1200 resolution, max, 16 X af and AA. If your computer can't run WoW, thn it was made in the 1990's probably.

I actually like the game and it's graphics. Sure, it may not have the graphical effects, but hey, I like it's art style.

Memory: 2x512mb (2 slots currently used, 2 slots still open) OCZ PC3200 512MB Dual CH Platinum Edition 2-2-3-5 PN OCZ4001024ELDCPE-K Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo2 (MS-7025 VER. 1) Supports up to DDR400 Video card: Winfast A7600 GT CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Western Digital 80GB 7200RPM SATA drive OS: Windows XP Home Edition Full-screen 1280x1024 24-bit resolution on 17 inch LCD monitor Raiding in25-man Ulduar I get horrible frame rates when we pull a boss such as Ignis. Frame rate drops to around 8-10 FPS. If I set all graphics settings to lowest and disable all addons I can get it to run at 16-20 FPS during boss fights. I really need to be able to run the game at a decent frame rate with all my addons and decent graphics settings to see what's going on, pump out enough dps and be on-the-ball refreshing my affliction warlock dots. I'm trying to figure out if slapping 1 or 2 gigs more RAM would solve my problem, or do I have to bite the bullet and upgrade my whole rig? Maybe there is something I could do to optimize my performance? According to Blizzard spec I think my system qualifies their recommended criteria yet my system barely performs reasonably if I disable everything when I need it the most. When I came to the store and asked about buying additional memory, they warned me that the memory they sell me (DDR400 CL3) might not work in addition to the memory I currently have installed, which leads me to believe I have to buy 2 gigabyes (2x1gb) so that even if they don't work together I still get an additional 1 gigabyte but then it costs twice as much with no guarantee that my problem will be solved. 2048mb DDR 400 (2x1GB chips) costs here in Israel 100 dollars. Likewise, 2x512mb costs 50 dollars. Ironically the higher DDR chips are a lot cheaper but they don't work with my motherboard. It would really suck if I spend those 100 dollars and my performance doesn't improve or in the worst case the memory doesn't even work with my current RAM. My hard disk grinds a lot when playing WoW, which makes me tend to think it's a memory problem but considering what I got to lose I'd rather be sure and maybe save the money to upgrade my rig. So how do I know what's my bottleneck? I tried updating drivers, running spyware removal, defrag, check hard disk integrity... Addons I want to use - PitBull, DoTimer, Bagnon, DBM, Necrosis, Omen, Outfitter. Also Ventrillo has to run in the background, and also my Kaspersky Anti Virus and Spybot. Optional addons that I usually turn off when raiding - AtlasLoot, Cartographer, QuestHelper, TourGuide, TomTom, Auctioneer, Altoholic...

I'm sorry but I don't find such boasting productive for my situation. Maybe you can explain to me why am I having issues and how can I solve them? Also maybe you didn't use it in stressful areas like 25-man raids. Of course when I head out of Dalaran and stay in areas without many people I get 60 FPS in my current setup. It's the stressful times when I'm raiding that really count and having to set everything to low and disable all addons just to get a playable frame rate just won't do for me to be a competitive DPSer. Another thing I've noticed is that whenever I hit an area with mist effects (such as area of Malganis in Culling of Stratholme or the Kvaldir mist area in Borean Tundra) my frame rate drops drastically and no matter how low I set my graphics settings the stupid mist is always there and gimps my fps brutally to 3-4 fps.

If you put everything on full with AA etc it will still be a challenge even to my gtx 260 in some areas. A GT9500 WILL NOT RUN IT AT FULL WITH SHADOWS , but will run it at high without them.

That's wasn't directed towards you, it was directed towards the topic creator. However, something seems wrong w/ your setup, because WoW ran fine (in all areas) on my ancient Pentium 4 computer with 512mb of RAM. The game does not take much to run, even back then. Good luck trying to get it work, though.
