does it make your mouse/keyboard faster or do you need usb 3 compatible mouses and keyboards. or is it just for copying data faster.

uhm and would a razer naga mouse with 17 buttons require a lot of power, because i have a 500w psu hope it doesnt take much strain.

third question, would you run a nvidia gtx 550 ti in SLI, or are there better options for the same price.

also i got no power cables when i bought my motherboard, cpu, ram, pc box. does it normally come with the power supply or what.

i also was not given a sli or crossfire bridge despite the motherboard having capability for both, that kinda sucks since i plan on going crossfire in the future i hope its not expensive

USB 3 is just faster.

Mouse is fine.

550 Ti is bad money spent, get a single GTX570 or 580 and SLI later if you need to.

It can come with PSU, except for me, I ask the people to take it out and keep it, I have loads at home :P

SLI/Crossfire bridge is cheap, like $5-$10 at most.

power cables obviously come with the power supply, modular power supplies do not all use the same connecting cables. if you bought the motherboard separately you should have an SLi/crossfire connecting bridge in the box.

Just a FYI it doesn't matter if you hook up a keyboard/mouseto a usb 1.0/1.1 hub vs a 3.0

in theory, USB3 is up to 5 times faster then USB2. In real world tests i get at least twice as fast!

USB3 is faster and gives more power (for charging stuff or running external hard drives).

A mouse is not going to utilise USB3 or touch your power supply in any way.

550ti is a bad card, no point doing SLI when you could just get a better card.

I would argue that ps2 is still better for mouse and keyboard if you are super serious about competitive gaming.

if you can get a 550Ti really cheap it is worth it. For instance I picked up a 550Ti superclocked for 99 dollars, those are going for 140 on ebay. Otherwise get a better card.

Don't worry about how much power a mouse or keyboard uses, it's like less than a watt.

No it's not. PS/2 has a max polling rate of 200 for a mouse/keyboard, I have my mouse at 1000hz forced, and most new gaming mice are 500hz or 1000hz.
