What is the best 2009 RTS game?

I didnt play it yet but i think its Dawn of War 2 , currently im playin World in Conflict Soviet Assault and loving this game. Next on my list would be Men of War really good game i played couple of levels and i still need to start playin Empire Total War which is still in shrink wrap because i got so many games i need to finish. But yea these 3 games are really good.

DoW 2, the best and most polished RTS this year, even tho it's an RTS/RPG hybrid.

Anno 1404 isn't exactly an RTS but it would be the 2nd best.

Empire is completely broken (superb game tho) and Demigod's online is broken for Europeans :/.

And so far there is nothing, imo, that looks decent till SC 2 is released at the end of the year or next year.

Dawn of War II, the *other* option is Empire: Total War, which has yet to leave the "mostly effed up" state of affairs, and which isn't an RTS anyway.

Battleforge, enough said.. the game manages to cut out the whole base building stuff so you can concentrate on what its all about.
