Well, i'm not going to say which seize you should go for, but after some time with the 32" your going to find it too small, depending on the room, a 42 is better. :)
The panasonic 42PZ80 should be phenomenal, but also an expensive tv, on the other hand you'd be enjoying every moment , no matter it it's watching SD/bluray movies, playing games or just watchin regular tv.
This is a "cheap" high end tv.

yes! its not expensive! it's on sale at frys.com
no, no no, no, first of all i have heard terrible things about plasmas and gaming, plasmas use a light so when they get really really hot they could burn an image on your screen. and I hear really bad things about vizio.
So i have heard that samsung and sony are completely worth the money, im going to get the Samsung LN37A450, but you should def. look at the Samsung LN32A450
Try cnet.com

Burn-in's doesn't happens alot anymore, it still does happendes but dont think that the plasma i've posted is bad.
Try and check out the reviews for the panasonic pz80 and pioneer 428 or 508.
My suggestion....Samsung LN32A550 (for 1080p) or Samsung LN32A450 for 720p.....
I would highly suggest the 32A550...yes....1080p might not be obvious on a set this small..but you have a higher resolution so you can sit as close as you need and it will look wonder. The Samsungs also have Just Scan (1:1 Pixel Mapping) and a Game Mode that helps things run smoothly.
Good Luck!
