[QUOTE="unrealplaya55"]evga is best because lifetime warranty and step up. and thats a fact no one else is on par.General_XXFX is pretty close though, with their double lifetime warranty. (The person you sell your card to will also get the lifetime warranty.) I know but when i sell people stuff i hope it breaks on em.

I wish I could directly insult users on gamespot without being so heavily modded.
In my opinion the Top 3 Nvidia makers are, XFX, BFG, eVGA.
XFX, double lifetime warranty, great customer support. The only negative is you have to register the card within 30 days (so does the 2nd owner for the double life*) or you will only get a 1 year warranty not lifetime.
eVGA, Lifetime warranty, and the Step-up program. The step-up program is neat, but depending on what you buy and how much you pay for it, and what the GPU market does, you can get anything from a great deal, to feeling like you got robbed. Also with eVGA, if you do not register within 30 days, no lifetime warranty(just 1 year), and no step-up. They have pretty good customer support too, not as good as XFX, but still better than most.
BFG, only has a lifetime warranty, but they don't play that stupid registration crap. You have a lifetime warranty no matter what. Bfg has good support also.
I also know XFX is "modder friendly", which basically mean you can do just about anything you want to it (not including volt modding) and as long as you cause no damage it is still covered under warranty. I think eVGA does the same thing, but not sure.

Why because you disagree with me? Everyone has their opinoin, its part of life so deal with it.BFG is starting a 100 day stepup program shortly. So.. CreasianDevailii hate them. ass soon as i buy mine they change it. i hope they die.

Are you like 11 or something? Your typing is terrible, you actually want your products to die on the people you sell them to, which you have ZERO reason to and now you want a company to die just because you were one of the thousands caught out on it?
You won't get many positive responses with an attitude like that.
And @ the OP I go with XFX because of the factory OC for less able users ( I OCed mine anyway with RT) and the double warrenty is a big appeal for second hand buyers.

WORD!
I would like to give Zotac a try, never had the chance till now
*If I'm not mistaken it's just Sapphire but for Nvidia they changed the name?
I would go with EVGA mainly because of the 90 day step up program. Basically if any new video card that you want comes out by the 90 day warranty you can reurn your video card and step up to the new one. Just pay the difference. But I'm not 100% sure that the program is still going.idontsaveit is...and my vote goes to evga as well.

double lifetime warranty? oh s**t, that's pretty f**king cool. i've never heard of that before.
Never go wrong with eVGA and XFX. Either one of these even covers not just overclocking but vmod as well. sstravisd
No company has a warranty that covers vmods, hardmods.
There is no physical damage to the PCB, GPU/chipset, or components that are caused by: Damage due to improper installation, damage during modification of any kind, damage during any type of Aftermarket cooling installation, and water damage of any kind.EVGA Warrantyhttp://www.evga.com/support/lifetime/
Me I have had a bfg in the past and it was a 7600gt oc 256mb but I never did oc on it cause at the time I had no idea what it meant. So one day some thing happen to it and I call them up and they said just send us the card and once we have it then we'll send you a new one and sure enough they did.
So now I have a new gpu and I bought it from xfx and it seems really nice. I have had it for lik3e 5 or 6 months and guess what I'm looking for another one and this time I may go for evga or just stick with xfx cards or what5 ever is the cheapest one out there.
At the moment I'm looking at maybe getting a 9600gt 512mb card.

Unsure where in the world you got that information, but it is dead wrong.
The only warranty coverage outside of normal operation, which can include some ocing, is 3rd party cooler installation. I think only one of them allows it without voiding your warranty.
They all offer lifetime warranties. One offers double lifetime warranty. Another offers the ability to use a 3rd party cooler and not void your warranty. None allow you to volt mod and still have it.
The stepup program is more for those who are in a bind or want to try out several products. Personally I only buy cards that i plan to use for more than 3 months and have no need for it.
I still say XFX over eVGA. eVGA is only good if you fully intend to step up. Myself for example can't afford to stepup. Since it costs about £100 to stepup from an 8800GT to a better card. So I'd have to say XFX because:
Double lifetime warrenty (Awsome if you sell your card on to cover costs for the next upgrade),
Free game,
Warrenty lets you OC and install third party coolers,
Factory OC in case you are a unfamiliar don't want to OC yourself,
Not too expensive vs other brands.
But that's just me.
for me xfx rox
really the feel of xfx is great
but ultimately its wat u like
all companies are good i think
