What is the best fps ww2 or vietnam game?

The best WWII game I have ever played is CoD. Still nothign beats it.

The original Call of Duty and its expansion pack United Offensive.....perfection.

defintely vietcong but it has big trouble running on vista because of a directX, also I saw fine ww2 mods for OFP, cod type games are boring for me so I played just first medal od honor and cod and that was the last time I played something like that.. but if you want nobrainer check out RTCW or ET

Return to Castle Wolfenstein, if only for it offering a nice twist on a tired genre. It's one of my favorite games ever.

WWII: I can name a few : MOHAA, RTCW, COD
Vietnam: uh ... I really liked Vietcong.

As mentioned earlier the original Call of Duty. To add on to that Red Orchestra Ostfront and Brothers in Arm rth 30 are worthy of purchasing to have an all around solid acquaintance of WWII FPS.

medal of honor allied assault. has an amazing single player experience. call of duty 1 and 2 are both good, but theres also medal of honor pacific assault which takes places on the pacific front so its almost like cod5. all great games imo.

I found myself bitterly disappointed with the single player in MoHAA, mainly because the bulk of the last two missions was more a chore than a fun gameplay experience, what with the endlessly respawning enemies and cheap corridor-crawling firefights. Until then - it's pretty good fun.

I have to say the original Call of Duty is the best WW2 game.

As far as Vietnam there aren't really that many great games out there based on that era, but I say the best is Vietcong. They really need to make more Vietnam games, there is just such much potential there.

If your into FPS, COD 1 is the way to go.

if your into RTS's, Company of Heroes/Opposing Fronts cant be beat in the WWIIRTS category.

for vietnam games, there is battlefield: vietnam, but its not really a vietnam game, its a battlefield game set in vietnam, the core gameplay is still battlefield.

Vietcong is the only authentic vietnam game i've played, and i wouldn't reccomend it, the game was alright, but by today's standards would be utter ****
