I like XFX. The last two I got from them were great overclockers, and they have a great warranty that covers overclocking supposedly, though I have never had to use it. The warranty can also be transferred if you sell the card, which can fetch a few more dollars on the resale value.
There isn't too much difference though, I would not pay more than $10 extra to get a certain brand over another. Nvidia has a lot of good choices.
I personally love EVGA. They always seem to be ahead of the pack, whether it be packaging or general quality. I've never bought a product from them where they used an anti static bag, but it should be no problem regardless. They're plain reliable and always get the most reviews so you KNOW what you're buying.

I agree 100%. I have always had great luck using EVGA's cards.
I'm going to go with BFG on this one. I had decent luck with EVGA as well... although my 8800gt's from them used to overheat even with aftermarket cooling and a decent case.
My preference is either EVGA, BFG, or XFX.
yeah evga good most of the time but i would not get one of their mobo. firedrakes
I also have an EVGA mobo, and it works just fine.
EVGA is the best.
Lifetime warranty on most video cards. That right there is reason enough to pick EVGA.
umm they all the same...just different cooling design or warranty or bundlesmike4realzSort of. They all base their cards off the same reference board, but a lot of manufacturers make small clock changes or board layout changes that can affect the performance of the card. So sure, they are all the same card technically, but those differences along with the ones you mentioned (cooling, warranty, and bundles) make all the difference in what brand you buy. Personally I have had good luck with EVGA, BFG, and XFX. XFX offers a lifetime warranty on their cards, which is something that is hard to ignore.
Good to hear their all about equal, I found a really good deal on a Galaxy GT 220undyinglightShouldn't be too bad. I use a non-reference (different HSF and PCB) Galaxy 8800 GT in my flagship myself, and it's still going strong after almost two years. As for other card brands, I found an eVGA GeForce 6800 Ultra AGP at a local computer shop a while back, just lying in a graphics card bin by itself. The huge, dual-slot HSF caught my eye, and upon digging it out, found that this was THE card everyone was lusting over back in April 2004-thus I had to have it in my Athlon XP 3200+/A7N8X-E Deluxe box. Fortunately, it still works after a good five-and-a-half years, and seems to run stably at around 460 MHz core/1150 MHz memory. (I don't know what kind of warranty to expect on it, though, given that it was bought used with no accessories whatsoever.) Note that I'm not particularly loyal to any brand; I just buy whoever has the best product that fits in my budget at the time.
