What is the best tycoon game out there?

Last one I played was Rollercoaster tycoon

Tycoon? There are ton of tycoons... The only ones i can remember are : Rollercoaster Tycoon & Hollywood Tycoon;)

The first Zoo Tycoon was pretty good..

The Rollercoaster Tycoon series was the best for me. Zoo Tycoon and Railroad Tycoon were also pretty awesome.

EDIT: Also, Pizza Tycoon, which was the first one of its kind I ever played.

Always, always, always, Roller Coaster Tycoon. Original+Expansions of course, not the crappy 3d version.

I liked Zoo Tycoon

Transport Tycoon deluxe edition + the Open TTD update make it the probably the best tycoon game, tbh. ... Transport Tycoon really covers a wide range of things though, and you can do some really complex things on a massive scale.F1_2004
