The gigabyte is passive cooled and the Axle uses a fan + heatsink. The axle should be better for cooling but i never heard of that company before.

The first one has 512MB of ram and the second one has 1GB of ram.

If possible get this one.

Axle is a "popular" Asia based company that came to Europe some months ago. Yes should be better cooling, but is it? =p Gigabyte has really good heatsinks design. As for the TC: Instead of an 9600, pay some extra(30-40) dollars and get an ATI 4850, worth a lot more imo. If you are strictly nVidia fan, then go for 9800 Gt, just 10 extra bucks or this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150331 (9800 GTX). ATI 4850 it is the best choice imo.

if they both have the same memory speed and core clock speed they should both run the games the same, the brand doesn't really make any difference. If one card has higher than stock clock speeds then there can be a small difference but not usually worth it for the extra the charge for a few mhz
