What is the most brutal game for PC?

Im looking for graphic mass blood and gore, right now im thinking it can't get more brutal than Left 4 Dead 2.

Painkiller, Soldier of Fortune 2, Wolfenstein, Timeshift, FEAR 2, Necrovision... I guess Dawn of War 2 also qualifies.

Yeah, Hell's Highway is really nasty. Also COD: World at War.

The new Alien vs Predator is pretty brutal. As the Alien you can grab your pray by the head and the hold them in front of you so they know there days are numbered. Then you slice open their neck with you sword like tail causing their neck to gush a torrent of blood. The Predator can straight up rip a mans head off with the spine still attached to the head. The list goes on and on. It's easily the best part of the game. The single player sucks pretty bad but the multiplayer can keep you intertained for quite some time. If it ever goes to like $15 dollars on a Steam sale you might want to pick it up.

Aliens vs Predators is extremely brutal. Ripping off a man's head with the spine still attached is one of the treasures :)

Gears of War likewise has pretty gory effects, such as the chaingun, which is pretty brutal, and other thingies.

in fallout 3 theres dead bodies everywhere and you can see dead children's organs in some places especially that elementary school full of raiders

I remember seeing the alpha release of Soldier of Fortune 2 at a friends house and that was pretty brutal, you could shoot someone in the head multiple times and see fragments of skull on the ground and brains hanging out. It was completely diferent in the final version of the game though and most of the chewy bits of gore were covered up by loads more blood which didnt look as good, but at least you could still shoot someone in the stomach with a shotgun and wath as they tryied to hold their intestines in.

I'm gonna have to go with Blood on this one. Yikes.

Manhunt. The people that worked at the executions are really f#&d up.

Dark Messiah. I love the combat in that game, especially when you do an adrenaline kill. Decapitation, chopping arms off, kicking into a fire. Check out these vids of mine as an example.

The torture game is an internet "game" consisting of horrifying amounts of torture and murder. Truly, truly horrifying.

Soldier of Fortune 1&2, nothing is really more brutal than shooting a guy in the stomach and watching his intestines fall out

Manhunt is pretty brutal.

The Hitman game's have their moments, though not gore-wise.

I thought Stalker was brutal but more in a sense of "I felt overwhelmed in a world full of creatures/people that were out to own me" sort of sense.

Painkiller is eh. Kind of cartoonish if you ask me, it doesn't really try to be gorey in a realistic sense, so I think they purposefully defused that.

Left 4 Dead 2 has a good amount of gore, yes, but brutal? I would have to disagree. Think back to the fact that the players themselves can not be ripped apart by the zombies... In fact they seem merely content to beat on you, rather than biting on you like every other zombie game, movie, etc. Not sure why they went that route, it could easiliy have made this game "brutal" (Maybe that's why they didn't), but either way, I'd say "intense" is a more apt terminology for L4D2.

SoF:payback was pretty crutal of a game.. but the rest of it is unbearable.. another game is painkiller.. just nothing quite as satisfying as a painkiller to the face or the minigun rocket launcher :P

finally in the budget corner weighing in at 5 bucks alien/zombie shooter franchises off steam are epic phun.. ther too awesome for words really.. you want gore go tear the limbs ff 6000+ aliens/zombies and then do donuts in the carcasses :P
