What you should do is run the benchmark for Final Fantasy 14 and tell us your score. This game is going to demand high end systems. Lots of great systems finish with bad scores. You can find it here, come back and tell us what you got. Crysis and Dragon Age take some power. Both of those make my fans kick in pretty steady.
although watching the benchmark you can see its smooth, kind of foolish. What you should do is run the benchmark for Final Fantasy 14 and tell us your score. metro 2033 doesnt have stunning graphics but its so badly optimized , Metro 2033 and stalker are worst optimized games ever and very buggy and clunky ... metro 2033 is still a nice game tho :) couldnt say that about stalker Farkemanmetro is amazing looking and runs great on my PC on high. And i can max Call of pripyat out with over 60fps consistently.
[QUOTE="Daytona_178"][QUOTE="dr__mr"]just decent ? the ram amount of 12Gb & the cpu type of core i7 will not get me more to supreme?dr__mrany RAM above 4GB's wont improve performance at all. Your CPU is good but the video card is THE most important thing in a gaming PC and your is decent....so as your PC is ony going to perform as fast as its slowest component (in this case is your video card) then your PC is regarded as decent for gaming,,,,,not nearly epic. adding 2nd card in a crossfire connection will improve a lot? (or jusr a bit?) will in the future be games that use all the 12Gb & not just 4? (btw, i have a 64bit OS, the system can see all 12Gb). We are years away from using 12GB's of RAM in games, that amount is only useful for people who do tasks such as heavy Photoshop or video editing or rendering. PERSONALLY, if I was in your shoes I would (and again this is just MY opinion) sell half of your RAM on eBay and also sell you video card and just buy something like a 5870 or GTX 470/80. That would give you a really nice increase in performance.
THEN you will have an epic gaming rig!

Sell off 8gb of your ram, sell off your crappy(when compared to the other parts of your rig) video card, maybe downgrade to a speedy i5, and grab the best video card you can with the earnings. :D
Oh and the amount of ram in a video card only matters if you have a huge high resolution screen, eg. 2560x1900, otherwise even a 512mb gddr5 with pwn a 1gb gddr3/4.

Then he would need to also buy a 1156 motherboard. Also the i7 sold used would just pay a new i5 750...so it would only cost him money to do that.[QUOTE="CrystalNox"][QUOTE="dr__mr"] adding 2nd card in a crossfire connection will improve a lot?
