Hey i'm looking to purchase an lcd monitor to upgrade from my crt but unfortunately i have had trouble deciding what to get. I can spend around $500AUS and i want a monitor over 20inch with very god image quality and response time. My computer is mainly used for gaming so PERFORMANCE IS CRUCIAL.

Any replies would be appreciated. Thnx

Actually, heavy performance and image quality is demanded by graphic artists over gamers - gaming monitors usually look perfectly fine with relatively mediocre colour reproduction as long as the response time is low. All that aside, that depends on where you're shopping, and what's available to you. I'm thinking about picking up a Sceptre X20-WC monitor myself, but I'm not sure if you gents have those down under.

I have this monitor here and I absolutely love it. Nothing bad to say about it. I would highly recommend it.

Where are you looking? I'm not going to take a bunch of stabs in the dark at monitors you may or may not be able to find.
