I mean even if she was ugly, at least it shouldn't look so queer and unnatural like the face right now. Does anyone else notice all the women in Mass Effect and ME2 all look kind of creepy?

Never noticed this in Mass Effect, and to be honest, all the screens I have seen of Miranda looked fine.

I think people's faces in general looked rather muddy and undefined once they were actually in motion in ME1 (reminds me of Oblivion, but slightly better and without the preposterous head shapes), but I did notice the females all seem to have really funky looking eye lashes. They simultaneously look like they're all chunked up with mascara and like they belong on a character model from the early 2000's or something.

To be fair it is based off of a real person

I thought she look okay. As least the character models eyes do not wonder all over the place like in the first title.

I am basically in accord with JP_Russel's point. All I am trying to say is I think they tried too hard to make her look like Yvonne, so when you actually see her in motion it is kind of weird.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qBzUwTrAMI.

her face looks fine

I'd be more concerned about her extremely saggy boobs, though

the facial animation in that trailer is not quite right. I'm not sure if it's uncanny valley syndrome though because still her face looks fine. Her lips move strangely.

Everyone in ME and ME2 looks strange to me. Most of them just come off as cross-eyed, but the newer vids they've been advertising just look.... off.

Mmhmmm.... It also seems that in certain lit areas, that characters either look normal or extremely ugly due to shadows and stuff. Like, some shadows really make wrinkles and bags underneath people's eyes extremely noticable.

It's like that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry is dating a girl who looks normal in well lit areas, and ugly and gross in poorly lit areas.

Wow dude, you nailed what I was thinking about. It seems to have something to do with the lighting. I don't particularily care that much about high resolution textures, but one thing for sure is that there is something weird about the lighting

I thought I was the only one disturbed by female faces in Mass Effect. Female characters often looked very emo in the face, though I did ignored it overtime.

Hopefully, I will be capable of creating an Uwe Boll character for ME2.

Subject Zero has even weirder animation in her latest feature. I think it's just a case of overzealous mo-cap and not enough time.

I like Miranda, although her boobs are distracting.

I don't really see how. He wasn't insulting white people or anything.
