What is up with my computer? It must hate me (BF3)

I may be giving up for good on this game (already). The latest Nvidia driver (285.62) fails to install every time with no explanation. Then insists that Origin is not installed, when I clearly just launched the game through Origin.

I hate my computer.

I'm willing to bet it's not your computer. This game is in an abysmal state for a release. It clearly wasn't tested properly. Here's some issues I've come accross so far off the top of my head:

• The screen in-game flickers bright green sometimes (this issue has remained since the alpha.)
• Clicking "join server" returns the message "could not join server" with a little skull and crossbones down the side of the web browser
• Servers kicking you out and your browser displaying "you were disconnected from the login server"
• Messages telling you "server disconnected unexpectedly. do you have the latest version of the game?" when the latest version is installed
• Random lockups (game freezes)
• Random crashes to desktop with a typical "program has stopped working" message

This is before the massive amount of lag there is in the game should you actually get into a match. I was in a match earlier and everything was going fine when suddenly every single player in the server died completely out of the blue. Everyone respawned and died once again. The game is riddled with bugs and issues both graphical and gameplay.

Works fine for me, played 8 hours with the newest nvidia driver, works very well. Diid you do a clean sweep and install?

I have not had any of those issues except the server join issue once. This is with 9 hours on the game on coop, versus and campaign.

It runs very well, no crashes or perforamnce issues, im very surprised what good shape the game is in personally.

It runs very well, no crashes or perforamnce issues, im very surprised what good shape the game is in personally.

I havent had a single issue in my playing it all day yesterday. Try completely removing your drivers and start fresh

I haven't had 1 single issue with BF3, and I've played a few hours so far : )-tears-run-red-
