well you see, the purpose of business is to make money. now that games can be ported from system to system relatively easy, the broader the consumer base you meet the more money you make. that's also why you get games that are attractive to the lowest common denominator at the expense of hurting the very small population of the die hard fan.
and i agree, RTS on a console is like going out today and buying porn on VHS... it simply disgusts me

This really isn't anything new.I played the Playstation 1 version of C&C, so long ago.And yeah, playing RTS's on a console is a travesty.BloodMist
I thought playing Starcraft for the N64 was cool.. Yeah the controls did suck though when compared to the computers, but the split screen was very cool for the game.

What's wrong with games being multiplat? Does it somehow hurt you? The only things devs should do is make sure both versions of the game are properly made for their respective systems (Oblivion on PC had such a 360 style interface) and properly polished before releasing the game (Star Trek Legacy on PC...).MyopicCanadianisn't this the truth..That's my only contention, interface issues. If they are done properly for each system, than I don't have a problem. Another example is Rainbow Six, and how that series of games slowly eroded to nothing but a shooter, old news, but still a real shame.
Piracy is huge on the pc.fieryfood_dudePiracy is a problem everywhere for everyone. Down with the pirates I say.
I dont have an issue with pc games going too console, but I do get annoyed when its a pc game being stripped down so it can run on a console.
they need money
