Nope. I can't remember a time when I had this problem actually. But it's annoying as hell when I'm trying to stream a movie on Netflix. :x

Could be the router. I have had that problem with one of my old routers.

I got a new router that's running beautifully. However, the password that came with it is just a random string of letters and numbers. How do I change it to something I'll remember?

most routers are set to 192.168.0.1, once you type that in your browser and get into the settings for your router look for a place where you can change the password.

It's taking to long to respond. Maybe mine isn't set to that? How do I find out?

Try 192.168.1.1. When you get in, try changing the channel. There could be another wireless router nearby on the same frequency.

I think it's 192.168.2.1

Either way, it should be in the manual... if you don't have on paper, you can get it on their website.

I guess my connection wasn't crap on Thursday then? I wonder what changed... Anyway, I think it might be the modem. I'm still having problems even with the new router.
