Dvd. Maybe dual layer, but it might just be multiple discs or compressed more.

dvd, we wont see games on blu-ray until most people have blu-ray drives. It would be foolish for pc games to come on blu-ray at this point.

This. It will be a long time before games come out on Blu-ray because DVDs work so well for PC games, why change? Plus, Blu-ray drives are not very common in computers at this point.

You can get DVD for this game and that is available online or offline to your nearest game shop. As you don't have blue ray drive so you must make use of DVD which is most convenient way for you. This game is of larger size there can be two or more DVDs you will get.

I personally hope the game industry skips blue rays and jumps straight to flash disk distribution.

1 dvd taking up 6.98 GB. It could be more once it is installed and uncompressed.

Unless you have a slow drive.

Good idea...but I still think it's expensive in that method. All this talk about DVD/BluRays and space made me wonder one thing: When designers are about to create a game, they must have a plan at the start to be able to fit the game in one DVD, or 2 DVDs. How can they do this? What I mean is, they are making the game/cutscenes, and they get to let's say 4.5GB.... then one extra movie goes over....so what, they use a second DVD just for an extra cutscene???

True but they are getting cheap fast. I remember 3 or 4 years ago I paid $30 for a 512mb flash drive. Now they give away 1gig drives in goodie bags.

It's only a matter of a few years when a 32gig drive costs next to nothing.

Yeah I know....I remember paying my 1GB USB Drive at $99.....hahahaha... If games do go USB, then they will probably have to invent some new type of DRM.....
