my mouse goes up to 5700dpi but i have it set at a X-axis dpi of 3500 and a Y-axis dpi of 4200... speed 0, with acceleration set to 1... on a 2560x1440 monitor...
Depending on the monitor size and how much you like to move to mouse to do things u have to set it to ur preference.
On my DeathAdder 2013 the settings are listed below.
I prefer having a higher DPI and slower mouse speed set in game rather than a lower DPI and a higher mouse speed set in game. Feels more fluid.
I have the Roccat Kone XTD 8200 DPI, but i game around 4800 for most games. I use around 5600 for isometric games and 3200 for twitch shooters.
Also large Mouse pads are the shit.
I have the same mouse and use about 4500 DPI for everything.
is it good? its the mouse i wanted to get. bought the g500s, used it for one day and don't like it because side buttons are too small and use them all the time (used to my Deathadder side buttons probably). Returning it today and looking to grab a Kone or Deathadder 2013.

It's fantastic. Only issue is that one of the side mouse buttons is hard to reach with my thumb...other than that, it's perfect imo.

Yea, the first button for the thumb is easy but the second button is a reach. For me it doesn't matter though because i have the keyboard also so lets say I'm playing a moba like league of legends. I just hold that first button and my qwer becomes 1234.
Otherwise i have found you can use the mouse fingertip grip and palm grip which i actually like because I use different ones for different games so its perfect.
