But first what monitor you have and pc spec
8800GT / 4850 for moderate gaming
260GTX Max core / 4870 1GB (high gaming experience)
280GTX / 4870x2 (Enthusiast Gaming Experiances) But I would rather to recommand you to play on higher monitor then 1280x1024 to take that card of it darkness
Far cry 2 1280x1024 = good perofmrances for 8800GT but not all very high : 260gTx / HD4870 1GB yeah
4870x2 / Sli 260GTX / sli 280GTX how ever are great performances higher then enthusiast we call that top-notch :D
by spring there gonna be DX11 Card Launch as i know from some Source of technews such as techpowerup

well get a GTX 280 for high preformance gaming For games like:Crysis,Farcry 2 ,oblivion,fallout 3 ETC

And a gtx 260 if u dont have money for a GTX 280

280GTX can be even considred almost Enthusiast in most of game as it like 20fps down 4870x2 in some game for 1280x1024 / 1680x1050

yeah i would love to have a gtx280, but for 400 dollars i really wouldnt be getting a substantial improvement over what i already have...

Yeah you have two 8800gT sli ti another solution for Nfroce 790 / n780 user or amd
there many option regard of ur setup. if you have a nfroce sli and a higuer psu then 550wats. you could sli easly. as long it as the pins for it the power suplpy. two 8800Gt = almost better hten a 280GTX
3 8800GT is Sure how ever to be better then 280GTX but require a huge airflow design tower + ambient room under 30C :D

actually i could go 16x 8x 8x for tri sli? should i i mean for only 150-200 bucks improve my performance almost 50%? i have 850watts, and 96 amps by the way.

in north america / canada i donno 16x 8x 8x would work nice...
i know on a 790i it would work nice

nah dont get 4870 x2 cuz u will need a 1000 watt psu and thats alot of money + dual cards got micro issue and it sucks so get the fastest single card in the earth (GTX 280)

and if u hate NVIDIA get single 4870, i whould say get an if u dont want to spend alot of money in a video card get GTX 260

my GPU's have the thermal intellegent on them... they never get above 40-50c and i have great airflow too.

that Two 4870x2.. For 1000WATS watch what ur saying. The 4870x2 i haven't much stuttering about people who bough it that i did recommand them to get but some issue with driver indeeds cause According Several Review 4870x2 is almost better then Two 260GTX SLI in some game. if the game where all DX 10.1 Optimized it would be faster then sli 260GTX anytime

anyway i see now why it cost that much well i'm not even sure ud see a 50% differance. if youw ould on 8x 8x. then that really nice

GTX 280 is alot better than 4870 x2 cuz in GTX 280 u will need 700 watts psu but in 4870 x2 u will need 1200 watts and thats alot of money

causet he warranty say so 100% with that but you know those Warranty are For Crap most of the time cause you can do it far away of the spec they say i mean they could run TWO 4870x2 on 750WATS PSU ? WIth a QX9770 OVERCLOCKED

Not really They some issue but Ask People such as elann2008 who got one it seem fine
but if you want to speak to professional in the matter Ask my union click the picture & talk to Searchmaster / Wesker776 / Wklzip they will find you a solution to probably fix Ur issue it require some Tweaking in sometime. as i know off
I'm not a professional in drivers just in benchmark and building a pc it what i do the best

But the 280gTx as for now maybe more stable drivers for some game such as Cryisis / Far cry 2
i bet it aquestion of time before catalsy 1.11 or 1.12 fix the issue

and the union is chill if you have passion for hardware then join us and assimilates knowledge

i think as officer you can manuely accept that tough not sure how union work i'm only in the gamespot forum since spring
