two problems:

1. grid doesn't have much in the way of customization, from what i hear.

2. gt5 is only on ps3, right?

[EDIT] ok, the gt5 problem is solved, but grid still doesn't let you customize like need for speed. but i heard that nfs undercover sucks.

What Kind of customization are you talking about? If you want to change colors and hoods, you should choose an arcade game like Need for Speed. If you want to customize how your car drives (simulation) then I recommend GTR2. Grid is a nice game, but not a whole lot to customize there.

Do yourself a favor and play GTR 2. You can also get package deal that includes GTR 2 and GT Legends for 9.99 at BestBuy last time I checked. Do not play in arcade mode either. I've seen many people play the game for the first time without knowing they were on Arcade and says the game sucks. Then they go explaining to others that the game sucks. Oh well too bad for them, they'll just go and play their undercover crap. /end of rant

P.S - If you do like the game, get yourself atleast a MOMO steering wheel, trust me on this one.:D

actually i was talking more about street racing games, not organized racing. does nfs undercover really suck that bad? because it has kickbutt graphics, and i like the daytime tracks like most wanted, except most wanted doesn't have especially good graphics.

Not sure what you're talking about. Most wanted looks ALOT better than Undercover. And yes Undercover is that bad.

GRID isnt street racing either, GRID feels like an arcade version of GTR2 without the car tuning. Either way both organized racing.

Anyone remotely interested in racing I always recommend GTR2, play in simulation mode and with a steering wheel, once you learn the ropes and start doing those time trials there is no going back to arcadia. Tons of mods will ensure that you never get bored of it. Also some of the car sounds are genuine and sound amazing in surround sound :D.

Other games-

NFS Undercover is absolute garbage, it sucked so bad that EA closed down the studio that made it.(Finally lol)

Text Drive Unlimited might be fun for you, street racing on a giant island with some online features, good fun.

I'll recommend Flatout, even though I never played it, I know its stright up arcade racer.

Juiced 1 is decent, Juiced 2 is awful, but has really good customization feature, too bad the racing sucks.

World Racing 2 is also street racing, its half arcade/half sim, a lot of the mods that make the game more sim-like with accurate car power/weight/handling. This game also has tons of mods.
