And... the original Super Mario Kart was crap. It would be impossible to update the graphics without updating the gameplay. I'd be incredibly bizzare to have next gen graphic'd courses rotating around a static kart.
Rather than remakes, I would like to see some new pretty looking games of certain types that seem to have died off about 10 years ago, Games like the Quest for Glory series--static background (though with some pretty effects possible today) mouse controlled hybrid adventure/RPG games, and just some plain good old point-and-click adventure games. Not the crap that every so often gets released today, like King Tut's tomb and Secret Door 7 (making these up) but good, quality adventure games. They don't need to be fully 3D! Art > 3D. I really just want some good writing, stories, and characters.

Thanks man, and yeah i own crackdeown already, it was fun hehe. But i was thinking a more realistic police quest type game, crackdown was more of a superhero type game, was still fun though (;
New aged police quest game with missions somewhat like THE WIRE or THE SHIELD tv show.
I'd like to see all cIassic roleplaying and adventure games re-released with full voice acting. Updated graphics would be nice, but I don't think they're essential.

I want the Quest for Glory games remade, System Shock 2 just with a graphics update(no, not Bioshock), and Baldur's Gate 2(Here's hoping for Dragon Age!).
1. Wing Commander Series - Do it right with new graphics the world needs a new space sim.
2. Homeworld - Update the graphics and just re-release the original.
4. Microsofts "Their Finest Hour" - Sick and tired of waiting on Oleg Maddox to finish and release "Battle of Britain, Storm of War" so why not dust off this chestnut?
I would like Monkey Island 1 & 2 remade with graphics similar to Curse of MI, in full HD, full talkie and mp3 music. It probably wont happen though because Lucasarts are such idiots now and only care about Star Wars.
