If you have played other total war games, Empire Total War won't disappoint. It adds many new elements such as technology, reworks many other things like diplomacy and trade, and completely revamps combat and adds naval battles.
DoW 2, wait for Empire to be fixed and wait for the next CoH expansion before buying that one, maybe you'll catch a good bundle or something.

Dawn of War 2 hasn't got any problems from what I know of...there are some glitches but they have pretty much fixed them, and they continue to fix any problems people are having...so long as you have the specs to run DoW2 and can get a steam account you shouldn't have a problem with the game.

I wouldn't say DoW 2 doesn't have any problems, at least according to some reports I've heard from competitive RTS players. It's not that the game has many glitches but simply that there are several balance issues right now. It's nothing major if you're not a competitive player, just something to keep in mind.
I still say go for CoH since it's $20 cheaper and, at least in my opinion, is the better game.
If you have a really good computer get Empire, the multiplayer is better for DoWII and CoH right now but Empire is supposed to get a multiplayer campaign later.
Company of Heroes Gold Edition! I did, and I've played over 100 hours already and still not tired of it! You should really get it, but on the other hand Empire Total War is also good.
I'd recommend waiting for Empire and Dawn of War 2 to get their share of patches and mods. Get CoH now, it's the cheapest and the most stabilized of the lot.
Tough call but I think Empire: Total War would be the best out of those three simply because it's the game you'll most likely still want to play after a year seeing as it's the deepest of all three as well as the most modable. Little buggy now but they have a patch coming out next week I believe that should fix some of the more serious problems.
Empire Total War, its one of the best games i have played for a long times, and I personally have had next to no problems, the only one i can think of really is I crashed to desktop once.
