what rts should i play

ive never really played many rts games, and I want to start. starcraft 2 looks really good so I want to play some others. I played the world in conflict demo, but thats it. I have played civ , and the game I really played alot of was battle for middle earth 2 for my 360. So which rts gamesplay like that, I really like building and upgrading walls, building armies and stuff like middle earth. Conflict was fun, so ill play that style as well, I just really liked middle earth.

Total War series or Worldin Conflict is epic especially the MP, try that

Supreme Commander 2 comes out in like 10 days or so... maybe give that a shot.

Probably not what you described , but still awesome game : Rise Of Nations.

Any one still play Ao3? Its not on steam so I dont have it now but does anyone know is an Ao4 will be out soon.

If you dont mind graphics, Command & Conquer: Tiberium sun is free to downaload now (released by ea), it is old, but it is fairly fun for a day or two.

I would personally go after the Dawn of war 1 game + exp packs, it is easy to get a grasp of, and it is fun.

If you want to try a more serious game (in tone not in game style) then Company of Heroes is quite good.

You could also go get the first SC, it is fairly cheap, and is a somewhat neat story driven game, but like Tiberium Sun, it is old by todays standards, and quite basic (might not be a bad thing tho, if you are just going to play your first RTS ;) )
