Hey,
What settings do you run Crysis on? What resolution? Also, does it run super smooth?
-Thanks

Iput everything to very high or w/e (havent played in forever) at 1024x728. It works great, no trouble. But my rig is pretty nice. Are you asking what you should run it on? If so, just show your specs andI can help you out. Also there is a scan button or what ever that gives you recommended settings.
I run it at 1680x1050 with a combination of settings, most set to very high or high. I went online, found some good guides, and tweaked the ini files so I got it just the way I like it. A lot of small, specialized things you really dont need or miss also eat up alot of resources, but can only be turned off by editing the files.
Cranked to max, on all settings, 2xaa... only 1280x1024 tho, my monityr wont go higher :S
Runs between 40-60 fps... except if ALOT of action os going down then its in its 20's
Also, guys, a tip is not to use AA and use edge AA.
It smoothens everything out like AA, but smoothens out the foliage better.
You don't take much of a performance hit, even entry level cards like 8600 don't take performance hits from using edge AA.
medium/high at 1024x768 with my 8600gt. i get around 25 fps which looks like 35 with the motion blur on :)
100% maximum settings with full AA and AF at 1600 x 1200 thanks to my new i7/4890 rig. Also, using Win 7 for the dx 10+ capabilities.Gammit10
Holy $$$$!!!
Maximum settings, 80 - 90 frames per second, wide screen 22inch monitor, 5.1 surround sound, the game was made for nuts like me lol.
Strangely Warhead runs a little worse despite supposedly being 'optimized'. But eh anything 60 or over is good enough.
I know I shouldn't brag cause it makes me sound like an a$$ but I also have a ps3 and 360, both hooked up to the same 1080p hd-tv.
Its a good time to be a truly hardcore gamer, or in my case an obsessive one. lol
Mine on high with the resolution somewhere in the middle slows down a bit. It is not buttery smooth. I think it should be with my rig. Is there any way I can check the frames per second easily. Also, here are my specs, do you think it should run on VERY high?
Intel Quad Core 2.66 ghz
7,200 rpm WD 1TB HD
4 GB 1060 RAM
Nvidea GTS 250 1GB Video Card
-Thanks

I'll soon have a PS3 and 360, but hooked up to a 27" SD boob-tube.

You should be able to run it on high DX9 mode. And it also depends on what resolution you play at, for that card, i say play at 1680x1050
Medium at 1920x1080.
Ultra low @ 5760x1080, was cool having it on three monitors, but DAMN it lagged.
half very high and half high with vsync and 2x aa at 1920x 1080
its almost always above 30 fps, which is good enough for me
Extreme quality 1.34 version @ 1920x1080 with Pom turned off and 16XAF enabled with 4xAA super sampling.
