360 controller. i think you need to do lots of complicated emulating stuff if you want to use a non 360 for a games for windows game.

i have a 360 controller and a ps2 like controller. also, if you are going to play gta san andreas, do not use the 360 controller. luckily, gta 4 is a games for windows game, so it will have out of the box perfect support for controller.
