For the last two years, I've been using this old Dell laptop that has trouble with even the simplest of tasks. It's time for something new, but I don't really know what to look for.

I don't need anything that's good for gaming (that's what my PS3, and 360 are for.) I just want something that's small and portable, has good battery life, and doesn't have trouble running Firefox, iTunes, and Photoshop like my current computer.

your best place to start would probably going to te dell website and looking at the laptops on offer. you wold be looking at the entitainment laptops which would be fast and efficient for your needs. the inspirion series is quite good.

Any brand new laptop shouldn't have problems running either of those programs. We just got my sister a new HP Laptop for school, the things loaded and we got it at a great price as well so definitely check into HP and also Toshiba for laptops.
