Change my intel e4300 in for a higher end e6 series, or get a brand new RaptorX 150 gb 10000rpm drive?
Im thinking that the extra space and speed of the hd might be worth it. Oh yeah, I cant overclock my processor cuz I have an Hp.

Dude, deff go for the CPU. The CPU speed will help a lot more with gaming then the HD will. The HD would be good for better load times and such but the CPU will help all around. Who cares if you hae to wait a little while extra for the game to load, wouldnt you rather wait and have it look better and run smoother?snipershot527
Yeah, do you think that my Hp motherboard will support that processor, as hp hasnt released a bios upgrade for it at this time. It has 5.09 bios.

Since the E4k series processors were released after the E6k processors, any motherboard HP uses for an E4k build will almost certainly support an E6k processor - still, I'd find out what your motherboard is, and see if it's compatible with the 1066MHz FSB.
Really though, I wouldnt' bother with either upgrade. I'd get a motherboard that will allow overclocking and an upgrade to a Penryn processor.
Well, the motherboard is an Asus p5lb or something like that, Anyways, a motherboard upgrade at this time isnt really possible. It may be when I built a computer myself, parents are naggy about online ordering. Thx guys, I think I will get the e6600 or maybe the 6750Elite_Rendog92
I'd definitely be careful on the E6750, I'm fairly sure your computer can't handle the 1333MHz FSB.
