Depends, in my room a 26/32 is great, living room a 52+ is most suitable.

I think a television betweeen 32-37 inches would be fine for me. Not so large that your eyes get tired of looking at the whole thing, and so small that you can't see guys in the distance in online games (like my current 26 inch).

I'd like to have a mid 30" for my room, but the 55" in my living room is just fine.

I have a 37" HDTV and it is the perfect size for my living room. I could have gone with a 42" but it wouldn't fit in this sweet antique entertainment center. A bigger TV would be nice, but this cabinet goes sweet in my living room.

i just went to circuit city today.. to finally check out some tv's other than looking at pictures of them online.. i had my mind set on a 37"-42" set.. but i checked out some 32".. i thought they would be too small.. but they seem just right.. its better than my current 4:3 20".. i plan on spending around $900.. 32" are exceptionally cheaper than what id rather want.. but then again.. i think a 40" would be too big for my room.. i think a 37" is perfect for me.. i'll set my sights on them..

i saw a 32" 1080p LG (or Toshiba) it was about $1,000.. but there was another tv that was 720p and the same size.. and about $900.. i read in a few places or heard from someone that 1080p is wasted on sets smaller than 40".. is this true??

All depends on the distance that you will be sitting from it so in my rooms I would say a max of 32"

I have a 32" in my room, that nice for how far away i am etc.

For a living room etc. a 50"+ would be nice.

32inch for my bedroom works great for when I sit in my desk chair near it. While a 65inch in my living room (sitting 10ft away), works great.

100" at about 8 feet works nicely. Really puts you in the game.

It all depends on the size of your room. If it's too small a 50+ isn't worth it. I have a 46 and find that to be a nice size for more Apts.
