what sort of FPS should I be getting for half life episode 2? I'm only getting around 10-30 with everything on high, is that to be expected with my GPU?

Specs are:

AMD 4200X2

7600GT

2Gb RAM

Win XP

That's about right if you've got HDR on and anti-aliasing at 8x. What kind of resolution are you running at? I'd recommend not going above 1280x960 or 1280x800 for WS.

I think its probably the avg especially that you are saying with everthing on max even tho its with low resultion. Dont forget that your GPU isnt good enough for recent names
