I have a z5500 its amazing.
but common problem in these is the fuse tends to go fairly quick so you have to replace it. i was about to send mine back to logitech when i saw a fuse in the back of the sub..changed it and now it works!!!

Senheiser headphones, always. I gave up speakers a long time ago... 5x more expensive for sound that isn't even as good as a good pair of surround sound headphones.weirjfi like headphones as well but if you ever experienced a car colision or an explosion in real life you will know that its not really the sound that is mind blowind but the impact on your body, especially chest. only speakers can provide that feeling.
Icemat Siberia's. Sound great, good cable control, and so comfortable you can wear them to bed. Get the black ones - they won't muss up your hair as much.
Just kidding :D
i have a question im using onboard audio. 8 channel. asus m3nht deluxe mempide edition.
the 5.1 does not work in games over optical or s/pdif, but it does for movies in media center.
i was wondering if a good pci sound card would fix this so i could use my spherex, digital audio, digital 5.1
instead of my logitech x540 system. \
thanks in advance.
Logitech Z-5300 5.1 surround sound system (bought 5 years ago and are still awesome!)
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro sound card ( money well spent!)
I need a good set of headphones though. I have two sets now and am not happy with either......:(
*+
Well, my first sound system was with some Logitech Z-560 speakers. You know, those 400Watt RMS bad boys.
I love these speakers. For gaming, hearing loud sound move through all the furniture around you really added to the realism,
especially when the woofer would kick in during explosions and you'd feel the floor shake :)
Then I got some Sennheiser HD595 Hi-Fi headphones and they do provide better quality sound but for gaming I prefer
big ass speakers because it just sounds so much more realistic.
Oh and I always use a sound card. I've got the same setup as the guy above with the Creative eXtreme music card.
