BTW, iam putting this poll in the PC games forum because i dont regard console FPS games worthy as being included because of their controllers (with the exception of Halo on the xbox :P).

I like to play as the Infantry class. I get to be at the frontlines..., snipers pick me off...., medics heal me...., and I get to yell at my team for being littles girls cause we are not rushing fast enough.:Ph1dd3n5had0w
Sounds to me like you play Battlefield 2 like me!

Lol, your pretty good!:D
Medic / Assualt.
If there is no Medic, I will choose the best Machine Gun capable of burst firing accuracy, and rambo my way through everything, sometimes like Sniping aswell.
Medics are never balanced, just grab ammo off someone, most medics have good guns, 1 man army, can litterally kill many more than any other class in any game.Â
I like sadistic suicidal technique called "RUSH-OVER-THE-BATTLEFIELD-AND-GET-KILLED-AS-MANY-TIMES-AS-POSSIBLE".
It's kind of relaxing...
I wonder why so many people like being a medic? Is it because you can heal yourself, or because they like helping out the team?daytona_178Helping out the team for me. And that's why I enjoy support roles more than anything. Leave the big guns to the people who enjoy them ;) Different playstyles ftw.

I enjoy playing a medic because I like to be part of a successful squad that can cross maps quickly taking points, and having a medic as part of a small squad is vital if you want to make ground and keep it. With long respawn times you can easily lose a point you captured by the time you respawn, and a medic allows you to instantly come back.
And since you mentioned BF2, the SA80 is an awesome weapon for the medic, and one you can get very early on if you make the right choices.
Healing yourself is OK, but medics that do just this tend to be lone wolves rather than team players. If I could have a squad of 6 that had 1 medic and 1 support, I would be perfectly happy to take on anything!! :D
As a final point - you can also have a great laugh at your mates when you revive them and they have no kit, and arms bent a funny angles as they run around without weapons :D
Depends on the game...
If the game has a really powerful single shot "rail" weapon that remains accurate while strafing...then im using that gun (railgun, lightning gun...etc) and using my uber mouse to headshot everyone even at point blank. Theres no other bigger rush.
If the game does not have a really powerful single shot weapon, then Im loading up on deployables (spidermines, mines, c4 packs, claymores) and im rigging up every ladder, chokepoint, and spawnpoint in the map.
