Its because consoles dont appeal to 12 year old girls who like Nancy Drew, and the Sims is great for a Mom with a lowend computer at home.

More than just 14-28 year old boys/men play computer games.

Actually NWN2: MotB is the biggest surprise on that list. Sims, WoW - constantly in the top 10 over the last few years.

Yeah, the top list always seems dominated by sims and WoW and whatever good games are out at the time... but wow, nancy drew. I remember seeing those books when i was like 8, and was like wow that looks dumb. Pleasantly suprised by NWN2, good to see RPGs are atleast popular, even if I'm not a huge NWN fan.

The Nancy Drew books have been around for decades.. suprised you haven't heard of them.. In fact the first book was made in 1930.

Yeah, like duh. ;) I'm completely joking. I think Nancy Drew is similar to the Hardy Boys. They were mystery books for kids...I'm sure my parents probably read them at one time or another.

As an aside, anyone remember, "Choose Your Own Adventure" books? I loved those when I was a kid.

BTW, do they still sell books like that? Choose your own adventure types? I know pop-up books have almost gone extinct.. hell even toys nowadays are made from sort of cheap plastic.. I remember when throwing a transformer was like throwing a piece of metal.. now their so fragile that if you transform them incorrectly, they break. What's the world coming to?! :P
