mine was back in the day floppy disk games. Probably first game was this olympic games I forgot what it was called and then this barbie adventure game.
It was between Prince of Persia, Berstain Bear Adventures, Stunt Racer, Falcon, Megaman or Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. I had all those installed in my windows 3.xx (?) .
MOH Airborne, I would of said Half Life 2, but running that on my old laptop didn't work to well, runing at seconds per frame, it doesn't really count.
Soldier of Fortune 2.... single player was forgettable (and i did forget it) but played the multiplayer for like 4 years. First 3 were on dialup so i was average but as soon as i moved on to dsl i tore everybody up. And coincidently that's when I stopped playing because I got tired of getting banned by everybody that I murdered for "cheating".... ahhhh the good old days.
SuperMario for the NES, followed by duck hunter, and many other similar NES games I also played Oregon Trail many years ago. My first PC game was a Starwars game made in 1995.
well if were to consider the BBC micro to be a PC then the first game i remember playing was elite. i loaded it using a tape....good times :P. in terms of a modern IBM compatible PC.....commander keen is my earliest memory
Very first pc game i laid my hands on was this 2d sidescrolling/shooter where you play as a kid shotting worms etc... I played it at the Schools computer whecrn i was 6. Otherwise it would have to be starcraft and delta force
First computer game was 'Strategic Bomber' (or something named like that) - had to program each line in BASIC first and then run it. First IBM-PC Compatible game was Police Quest I on a Tandy 1000HX (with the memory card expansion bringing it to 640K, and 2 Low Density 3.5" floppy drives). First Graphical game was Oregon Trail on an Apple II in my school library
It was probably Centipede or Arkanoid, and one with cats in an alleyway (?)... But I really remember the first game that really really excited me... Friday 13th!!! I had an 4Mhz IBM with floppy disk, but my neighbour had one of those cassette computers.... He was the one with that game; it was deadly!!!
My first pc game was some old dos game on a floppy disk, but my true first pc gaming experience was battlefield 1942 about a year after it came out. Let me just tell you, Holy crap, did I have a blast with that game. Ever since, I've been hooked on pc gaming.
First PC game I played was on my Dad's suitcase size (no kidding) PC for work back in the mid-80's. It was Space Invaders, Golf and Jump Joe in DOS...I miss DOS. On my first PC though, Wing Commander II, great game.
My first game on an apple II was Karateka back in the mid 80's that I used to play in the school library. The first game I played on my own computer was Age of Empires 2.
