What Would Be Your Worst purchase On Steam?

Just curious as to what other people may think. As the title say, what would be your worst purchase from steam and why? I would say my worst purchase on steam would be... freaking S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky

why? the game is a glitchy mess for me, even with the improved mods. If you have to edit your folders a couple of time just to get the game to work properly at a decent frame, then we have a big problem.

runner up would beDark Sector. i actually like the game, but the problem is i can't play the game at the resolution i want it to be. The game doesn't even support wide screen, so you basically have to play the gamestretchedand believe me, thats not a pretty sight. I actually liked the game other than these fault.

Either Guild Wars or Serious Sam HD.

I actually wish there was a way to remove guid wars from my steam account.

Zombie Driver. Not becouse its a bad game its just that it makes my head hurt and after a while I feel like puking. Its the only game that has ever affected me in this way.

Order of War or Section 8. Yes, everytime I see those games on my "uninstalled list" I bow my head in shame

Left 4 Dead 2. I didn't play it more than 2 weeks. And I could have gotten the game from shop for 15 euro cheaper than from steam, but still for some reason I can't remember now (probably due to lack of sleep) I bought it for more expensive price.

Freedom force vs. the 3rd Reich. Honestly I have no idea why I bought it, guess I was bored and looking for something to do. Think I played about 20 minutes in total and never went back.

Mirror's Edge. I wish I could gift it to somebody. Actually that would be mean, I wish I could just remove it from my games list. :(Forerunner-117

+1 for Empire: Total War. Why oh why did I pay full price for that game...

Everything except Valve created games. So much money has been spent on games that I could happily never play again; but am forced to install every now and then to justify the money spent on it.

Same for me. Not being able to remap controls to the numpad makes this game unplayable for me.

HL2 is my second choice.

Empire: Total War would be my first choice... I STILL regret purchasing it- despite the sale it had on Steam... But its horrific AI makes me feel this game is worth no more than $5- I seriously felt robbed when I played it. :evil:

Deus Ex and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic would be very far behind for 1st choice- but they put up stiff competition with each other for 2nd. *preps flame shield* :(

(Explanation: I understand why people loved both of these games- but Deus Ex's shooting and stealth felt wonky to me, and SW:KotoR just plain isn't my type of game. I STILL don't know what possessed my brother to buy KotoR instead of the X-Com collection- when he should have fully well known KotoR was not going to be our type of game...)

It wasn't a Steam purchase, I got it retail, but Empire: Total War, not because it's a bad game but because it's broken, entirely.DanielDust

Second would be KOTOR. I just can't get into that game for some reason. I got it for 1 or 2 Euro, so I won't complain...

And then there are a ton of games I never managed to play, like Overlord 2 or Defense Grid.

By far the worst I ever bought....only played like 4 out of the 10 games in the package, and can't bring myself to play anymore after the first 4 left such a sour taste in my mouth.

Worst Game: Half Life 2 (just not a fan, my humble opinion)

Worst Value: Left 4 Dead 2 ($45 for two weeks of play time)

My latest purchase Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, for 12.5.

Wow after all the hype it got I expected alot more, infact its one of the most mediocre games I played this generation. I deleted it after a few hours and I will probably never play it again.

Audiosurf dont get me wrong great idea but I just dont like it. Second place goes to the Whitcher it crashes alot and is boring.

Loved the first game, just couldnt get into the sequal.

I couldn't really say. I didn't play STALKER SoC much at all, but I paid 2 bucks for it, so hey, what the heck. I haven't played much Red Alert 3, so thats probably my first choice. Next comes to KOTOR, I love the game, but for some reason it won't work on this computer...

Borderlands.

It was a big dissapointment for me.

Gothic 3 and Empire Total War mainly. Both are broken even with fan patches.

As for what I most regret I'd have said Jagged Alliance 2 - it was basically completely broken on the Steam version to where I bought it on GOG instead. Sounds like they've since fixed it, though.

Definitely Far Cry 2, and Star trek online... Both were a total waste

I'm gonna go with Alpha Prime. I may have only paid 99 cents for it, but I want every penny back. I don't know what I was thinking. Maybe that it really couldn't be that bad and a B quality shooter was at least worth a buck, but damn is that game terrible. Stupid Holiday Sale.
