What Would Cause The GPU and CPU Temps Increase 15-20C , After 6 Months?

My gpu used to work at 77C but now it overheats and goes over 100C

My cpu used to work at 60C, now it sees 75C ?

What could have caused the gpu and cpu to increase the temps this much?

The only change i made to pc is to add 3x4gb ram sticks.

I have a 600w ocz stealthstream (2.5 year old) i suspect its about die. Could a dying psu result in these temperatures?

If you replaced the TIM with cheddar cheese.

It could be the thermal paste...i had a gtx280 and a gtx285 from Gigabyte and they both had the same problem...overheat...Gigabyte used poor thermal paste for those cards...i had to replace the thermal paste on both of them after a couple of months

An increase of 4 or 5 degrees in room temp can cause a significant jump in temps for your CPU and GPU. Before it started getting too hot and we didn't use the air conditioner yet, room temps varied from 68 (mornings after it had been cool outside all night) to 78 in the evening before it started cooling down again. Temps on my CPU would idle around 28C and gaming would have it sitting around 44C in the mornings. If I used my computer at night the CPU would idle around 40C and gaming would push it close to 60C. Same thing happened with my GPU.

To top it all off, if you're case as poor air flow, small jumps in room temps could cause more dramatic changes in your computer. Take the side off your tower and see if that helps with the temps at all.
