Three years from now, X game comes out. What would you like to see improved on that future game compared to current games we have now?

I would love to see improvements in almost all aspects of course, but personally I would like to see some advancements in the artificial intelligence in games.

mainly AI and more content. I would also say better stories but that's more reliant on people than technology.

Better A.I. too. And also better stories, because these days almost all games have B-film level stories.

People should still be coding ps2 games! Not that bad as games.

I'd like to see great storylines, which have been lacking this gen IMO. I would also like if games offered more replay value.

#2 More polish/optimization

#3 More complexity/customizibilty

#4 More modding

#5 More respect for the consumer

Level design. As of now, it's laughably bad.

Increase the number of animations in a character from 3 to 8 and make them random. In alot of games an attacking AI or players character would have three pattern of animations.

I'd like to see all RPGs moved to 64-bit coding, to take advantage of extra RAM. We need to move beyond the 32-bit limitation.

I want games to have storylines and actor performances as compelling as movies. For that, graphics have to be 'clean' in that they are polished. They don't need to be photo-realistic. A cartoon can convey realistic acting. For example, overall, Skyrim has good graphics. Yet, there are so many inconsistencies and imperfections. Shadows are rough and textures are muddy. I hope that these would disappear in the future. Also, animations have to be improved.

I have to disagree with the acting thing. Too many games spent their budget on actors and when they should be focusing on the game itself. Id rather have the parts that I'm playing be high quality--the actual "game". I could care less about cut scenes. Just my opinion.

I want some pc exclusive, with a new engine made from scratch, and sp or mp only, not with a strong mp and a short n cheap sp which took time that wasn't used in polishing the strong point.. or the other way around.

Ahh and please, improved AI in sp games.. i'm tired of having to chew their meat for triggering things to happen or not to go wrong.. Kills immersion
