So true... You could use CPU-Z. It's free and shows you your CPU info (speed, FSB, voltage, etc) and there are other tabs that provide you with info - such as the Memory tab that'll list your timings.
Everest has a memory specific benchmarking tool but unfortunately it is not free. To test the overclockability of your ram; Memtest+86 is good as it will find errors if you are running outside the capability of your ram/settings.
Memtest86 gives a whole load of info about your RAM. I think somewhere in there is probably speed test, but you might have to do some digging to find it. Check out their website and see if you think it will give you the data you need. http://www.memtest86.com/
