Title says it all. I really want to play the PC version of Team Fortress 2 because of the updates and the better performance over the PS3 version. I cant get a Desktop so a Laptop is the only option. My price range is around 500.

if you can find a notebook with any gpu higher or equal to 8400m gs in that price range you can play it well enough. Prices differ throughout the world so I can't recommend you any.
No such thing as a 500$ gaming laptop
I just bought this laptop and im very pleased with it but its also... 1800$.. so its a little out of your price range but its a HP Dv7.
If your on a budget, the look at a core duo because quads (which are fairly new on laptops) are what drive the prices to 1600+
You can get a solid gaming machine, not the best but still good for around 1000$
No way... he needs at least core 2 duo 2,4GHz, 2-4Gb RAM and minimally 8600gt (for low and laggy) and 8800 (for medium settings), for some reason TF2 is the most demanding game of source games.if you can find a notebook with any gpu higher or equal to 8400m gs in that price range you can play it well enough. Not sure if they still have them but a dell vostro 1720 has a 9600gt gpu if you spend more money not sure how much it costs though.

This was a joke post, right? An 8600GT can easily max out TF2. Hell, my old 7600GS maxed it out (without AA though)[QUOTE="umutthejedi"]

Correct me if I am wrong but any laptop with a modern cpu and any dedicated graphic card will play this game pretty well i'm assuming.
