whats better 3870 x2 or a single 4870

trying to decide what to get, newegg has 3870 x2 for 240 and zipzoomfly has a 4870 for only 240 also which one is better?

a 4850 is better than a 3870X2 from what i hear, so yes, the 4870 spanks it
