if you have the money to pay for a game at all, then you can get Guild Wars. 

if someone doesn't have a job and no allowances... i suppose it could be

 seriously, the free ones suck so much its not even funny

here's an idea, instead of wasting time on free MMO's you should use that time trying to get a job so you can afford a real game.

Runescape sucks but its 100% FREE. You can upgrade to members though for $5 a month...gets you more quests, items, areas, wep/armor, skills, and abilitys. But yeah it Sucks.gamerwiz09

So technically it's not 100% free.  If it were 100% free then 100% of it would be available for free.

Silkroad is pretty fun sometimes.

I heard it is really dumbed down from the Korean version, though.

Yeah I agree, if you want to play free MMORPG games there is Conquer or Silkroad and others!! 

There's a lot of free. 

Trickster - you can dl for free and play for free - the game isn't bad at all

 Anyway, as for the topic poster... besides runescape, which isnt a great game at all... there isnt much of anything else that is free and u can play without downloading a client.  Its not such a pain to download a client and play somthing thats totally free , its free after all isnt it.  I suggest Silkroad Online.
