Morrowind. Never before have I gotten so lost in a game (literally and metaphorically). I probably dumped about 200 hours in to that game in my life.
Agreed, god I love that game. Definitely my all time favorite. Oblivion was a let down for me after playing Morrowind...actually I guess not so much a let down, but rather it didn't 'hook' me like Morrowind did.Morrowind. First time I played Dark Age of Camelot I got hooked.I thought it was so cool actually playing Online with other real people (It was my First Online game). The memories of the first days in that game are unforgettable for me.
Just got Crysis finally and played it all day. Suffca
Niiiice, when i built my new pc after a few years away frmo pc gaming I had Crysis and The Witcher waiting for me. My god was I blown away with the graphics and gameplay on Crysis, simply loved it (:
Crysis and Witcher were nice games to play after a few yaers of not playing many pc games.
Definitely TF2 when I played with my friends.
Single player, Deus Ex and Mass Effect just got me hooked because of the story. I recently been hooked on MW2 multiplayerbecause the feel of the gameplayis just so flawless for a shooter, too bad many other problems weigh it down.
...Saints Row 2.
I know... I know. But I enjoyed the first time I played it at a friend's house. When I finally got it on my computer, I clocked over fifty hours just by myself (6-7 hours the first night, just exploring the city and shopping for clothes and stuff), then about sixty hours more on co-op with my friend.
I actually really liked the story. It may not have been as sophisticated as GTAIV's, but it was fun and exciting to go through. Eagerly awaiting SR3.
Quake Live... getting hooked on a game doesn't seam that uncommon for me(especially when I just get it) But it usually comes and goes. And while it is kinda the same for QL, I don't think any other game has been this consistent for me.
Hundreds of hours put into it, and I just started this year.
edit:
My main profile says 14 days, so that would be over 300 hours... take some time away for going afk, but since it kicks you after a little bit, Idoubt it takes up that much
The Simpsons Hit and Run had me playing it forever on xbox, then my xbox stopped workin so i played it all over again on pc. I don't think i've had more fun with a game before. It was pretty challenging and just being able to explore springfield was amazing.
ArmA 2.fudgebloodThis, a niche game. But one of few I have played 6 months after I got it and still enjoy it.
Back in the day Total Anihilation along with mods easily took up 500+ hours of mylife but then again games seemed to last me longer back then now a daysI ussualy get bored of most gaves with the completion of the single player.
well the last games that had me truly hooked and immersed were Crysis and World of Warcraft. But that was months ago
Right now I just got Batman: AA and the hype can not say enough about this game; truly awesome. Voiceacting, visuals, gameplay...all great, very refreshing, and well done.
Whoever does the voice of The Joker is simply amazing. Its not Mark Hammill is it?
From most to 'least':
1. WoW hooked me for a good 3 years.
2. Half Life 1 & 2, every year I play them through.
3. Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 3 hooked me for a year.
4. Fallout 3 hooked me from the start, 2 play throughs so far.
5. Grand Theft Auto Vice City never got boring for a whole year.
[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]Yeah it is. I forget why I know this, but I read/saw it somewhere. Every preview possible? O.o When I got SR2 I just couldn't stop playing it, so much fun... TF2 also gets my attention a lot...Whoever does the voice of The Joker is simply amazing. Its not Mark Hammill is it?
