I replied in your other thread regarding themes - it's probably a few pages back, but you should be able to find it easily enough.

I'm pretty sure UXTheme has someone that's done a Vista transformation pack (and you can leave Litestep out). Look around for them, I'm sure you can find one. It's a great way of changing the look of your system too, since it's not an actual skin, but a complete change to the Windows shell itself. Just make sure to back up the original UXTheme file, or you might end up tweaking something you didn't want to.

It doesnt have the glassy look as you said above.

I have a pc with Vista and another with VTP 6 and they look identical.

My VTP6 PC didnt take any slowness since the VTP6 install.

The pics that they show are right. The PC looks very similar to the pics.

EDIT: I used 2kglass to give it a transparent look, almost glassy like, thats why you see the taskbar transparent in the pics.

1- how would i back up system files so that if i had a problem with it i could just uninstall it and all my system files go back to how they were?

2- what kind of problems could a program like this cause, as in messing up system files? could it corrupt a harddrive or anything leaving me to reinstall windows? what are the possible problems?

3- it comes with the sidebar and widgets too? can you post a pic of your desktop?

thanks!

Well:
1= You should use system restore and amke a restore point. If anything happens you can go back to that time.

2= Not sure, as long as you dont choose the change system files, you shouldnt have any problems that might make you reinstall windows.

3= I will try to post pic in a minute.

thanks for answering my questions. im familiar with system restore, but is there a way to access it thru like starting up your computer? lets say somethig happens to my files and i cant get to my desktop on startup, is there a way to restore?

and you link isnt working, just brings me to the webpage you used to upload it, but no pic is there to see

edit- it works, thanks for doing that. so it comes with the sidebar? does it come with a lot of widgets too? what about that object bar?

No problem, Im glad to help :)

Well lets see, If anything happens during instalation (which there shouldnt because during instalation you are adviced to install in safe mode which reduces the chance of any erroes) when you start up your PC you can either start PC in safemode and use sytem restore  or uninstall VTP 6. All of this in safemode ofcourse.

If safemode doesnt work, you can use the "start PC with previous configuration of a succesful start" or something similar. You choose that option to start PC with the configuration of a previously time when it worked.

Also, yes the VTP6 comes with the sidebar. You can then upgrade the sidebar to a newer version that comes with more, better gadgets.

The object bar on top no. You have to install that seperate.Search it on google.
