I don't know what version of the game they are running, and didn't zoom in to see exact settings, but here is that laptop "running" GTA IV on High.

For $799 (the cost of that laptop) you could build a desktop PC that would likely have at least double the framerates at the same settings.
So, to answer the topic, the laptop mentioned by the previous poster - with the GT240M video could play Crysis. A lot of different configurations can "play" Crysis, it almost always depends on the screen resolution and settings.
try and look for the gpu eitehr the gt 240m as mentioned, or the newer version the gt330m. on the ATI side of things u want at least a 5650 but i would try and get a 5730 just for the extra grunt. usually these GPU's are found in machines with i5 430m cpu'z. don't get a core 2 duo anymore as they shouldn't be around anyway (newer tech is gonna be better in the long run)
You don't want a cheap gaming laptop, as cheap equal to crappy performance. The best I could suggest you is eeepc 1201n. Its's around $600 and could handle Crysis a bit and 1080p video pretty well. Although it comes with no dvd drive, so you have to get yourself Dvd drive external in order to instal stuff. Check Amazon or youtube there is a lot review about this product.
I myself use alienware 11x, but it's a bit more expensive for around $1300 but you won't regreet purchasing this little beast.

for the same price as the mx11 u can get much beter specs in a real size laptp without the lame SU7300 core 2 duo.
