Crashing me while I'm playing a scrim with my clan, Sbatoge game in COD4, sudden death, Xfire crash. B S.

Do all of you just exit Xfire when playing games? I've had multiple crashes by this thing, what causes it?

Always worked fine for me. I think I've had that DirectX X-fire Exception error once, but nothing more since then.

A xfire crash isnt xfire crashing your game, its a xfire pop up instead of the windows critical error report pop up that you get when your games crash. believe me, i have tested this theory.

You can't have it on while playing COD4 IIRC. I also can't have it installed with soulseek at the same time.

That's what I thought...... I just don't see why CoD4 MP would crash though..... Ok, I believe you

yeah, alot of people think its xfire that crashes...its not. Its just an error report instead of the windows report.

i know this topic is seriously old.. but how do u explain this then?

when i try to play a game of Red Alert 3 BETA, every time on the loading screen to go into a match it will crash without fail (windows error reporting an xfire module as the culprit)

randomly when in world of warcraft when xfire is open it will just close itself (no error message IIRC havent done it for a while since i dont run xfire anymore)

the same pattern is found in a couple of other games, the point im making is, if i do not run xfire, i dont get any crashes AT ALL
