You won't max either of those games at steady fps

I wouldn't get that if I were you; ibuypower prebuilt pc usually use cheap powersupplies that are dangerous to all or your components and will dramatically lower the life of your pc.

No chance of maxing out either game. You're looking at medium-high settings at 1920x1080. Both games are VRAM hogs.

50+ framerate is too much, its good to run games without pc lag issue.

With just ONE of my HD 6950's at 1080p on ultra on BF3 I get around 35-40FPS and on high I get around 55-60FPS... With a HD 6850 you would be lucky to get 40FPS on High at 1080p.

Battlefield 3 at 1920x1080:

  • GTX 550/HD 6850- Medium
  • GTX 560/HD 6870- Medium - High
  • GTX 560Ti/HD 6950- High
  • GTX 570/HD 6970- High with AA
  • GTX 580/HD 7950- Ultra
  • HD 7970-Ultra with AA

I run medium at 1080p with max FXAA and AF fine and my card is similar if not slower than a 6850.

What are you on about...
