Most of the games I have short play times for are games I ahve owned at some point and got on Steam for dirt cheap. I have a habit of buying a game, playing the intro or begining up to a point where I can freely play the game with no tutorial or annoiences, and then leave it until I want to return to it.
TL;DR: Original red faction, beat it in just under 4 hours.
Juiced 2 Hot import nights. I clearly remember playing it to this date, was on skype with a mate, and i had just gotten through the lengthy but useless character customization, and when i finally got behind the wheel it was like a drumroll. Then when the countdown was finished, 3 seconds went, i got a hold of the car physics, and i yelled to my friend over skype : " JESUS CHRIST! IT'S (unmentionable word not suitable for gamespot) HORRIBLE!!! at which point i promptly left the game. Good thing i got S.T.A.L.K.E.R, DOW and COH series in the same package ;)
While checking was surprised how many i had, damn i waste money hehehe.
Cogs (0.9hrs) Dirt 2 (1.6hrs) Red faction (1.6hrs) Farcry 2 (2.2hrs) Just cause 2 (2.3hrs) And many more :( Looks like my worst is mass effect (0.7hrs)
But have almost 300hrs on Borderlands and already have 66hrs on Terraria hehehe.
People might hate me for this but i only played stalker for 1.5 hours. I couldn't get into it when i first got it. Also games like Far cry and metro 2033 only have about 2 or 3 hours of play time so far.
[QUOTE="NerubianWeaver"]Mount & Blade Warband and Fire and words. Horrible games. Graphics is bland, lame combat, too much reading, game has basically have no direction at all.agpickle
Too much reading? Really?
If you'd played the campaign there is always a barrage of wall of text in front of you. Incessant reading = boring. RPG games like Mass Effect 2, Witcher 2, or Dragon Age 2 are proven to be the best RPGs in this gen while maintaining simplicity and conveying storytelling through cinematic cutscenes, not displaying tedious wall of text.[QUOTE="agpickle"][QUOTE="NerubianWeaver"]Mount & Blade Warband and Fire and words. There is some to set up your background story and a couple paragraphs to start a quest. Also all of the RPG's listed are big-budget games involving millions of dollars and hundreds of people. The Mount and Blade games are made by a small indie company, in fact the first was made by just two people. I can't really call it fair to compare it to those games.
Section 8 on the Xbox360, just now. I removed it after 5-minutes when I realized that I was playing an FPS on a console.

That being said Witcher 2 has a LOT of dialog, they just make it more interesting with dialogue options and such. If Mount and Blade had more varied dialog options I think it would've helped the game a lot as a whole. Despite the fairly uninteresting dialog I recommend giving Mount and Blade another shot. The combat is pretty fun in my opinion, and you can do almost anything you want. Become a knight, pillage villages, hire mercenaries, have massive battles. I think the developers intended you to make your own story as you play through the game.

Tried it again. I just can't get into it. The game is overwhelming, combat is pretty much awful and difficult at some point, basically the world is so huge that it doesn't have a compelling and engaging story compared to the RPGs that I mentioned. Suffice to say, the poor visuals driven me enough to stop playing the game. That's a great idea, but people would find a way to keep it and get a refund.Perhaps one day Steam could adopt a returns policy. For instance, if you bought a game, played it for less than an hour and found you didn't like it, you'd be able to return it for a credit. Any longer than that, and you wouldn't be able to return.

Oh I forgot about that one, I lasted around 7 minutes, I hate these games, only got it because it was in a pack with other games I wanted, on Steam.Rhythm Zone - 2 minutes.
